Дизайном обложки альбома занималась студия «Hipgnosis» Сторма Торгесона. Она содержит несколько фотографий группы, расположенных таким образом, что создаётся Эффект Дросте. Альбом "Ummagumma" достиг пятого места в хит-парадах в Великобритании и 74-го места в США.
